About Us
At Naggiar Vineyards, we believe great wine starts with a great place—and ours is the Sierra Foothills at their most cinematic. Just outside Grass Valley, our family-owned, estate winery sits among rolling vines, oaks, and big-sky sunsets that need very little “styling” to look spectacular.
Our Roots
Founded by Mike and Diane Naggiar in the late ’90s, the estate began as a grower-first vineyard with one goal: farm premium grapes that truly fit this land. Hot days, cool nights, and hillside blocks led us to Mediterranean-friendly varietals—think Sangiovese, Barbera, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Rhône blends—crafted with low yields and hands-on care. Over the years, those grapes became the wines we’re proud to put our name on.
Estate & Hospitality
We control the journey from vine to glass—farming, harvesting, and winemaking on site—so what you taste reflects this exact place. Our tasting room is open Friday–Sunday (12–5), and the property comes alive spring through fall with Winefest concerts, food that plays nicely with wine, and plenty of room to linger.
Weddings at the Vineyard
Yes—we host weddings. The estate’s natural backdrops (vineyard hillsides, water features, oak-lined vistas, and golden-hour light) create an effortless setting for ceremonies and receptions. Couples choose us for:
